PayPerPost Acquires Performancing.com


PayPerPost just partially acquired Performancing.com including Performancing.com, Performancing Metrics, a free blog analytics service, and Performancing Exchange, an online classifieds for bloggers. Disappointedly, the Perfomancing Partners, a blog ad network, and Performancing for Firefox, a free blog editor, are not included in this acquisition.

According to TechCrunch.com, the main purpose for this acquisition is to open out Performancing 28,000 users for PayPerPost, most of whom are bloggers and potential customers for PayPerPost.

PayPerPost is paying USD10 for bloggers for writing “PayPerPost Acquires Performancing.com” in their blogs. But, I will not get any cent from PayPerPost for writing this here. I just feel that this news is worth to share here with all the readers who are following my blog.

Besides, the Performancing plugin for FireFox will be rebranded as ScribeFire.
